Our Wednesday workshops were omitted from our September newsletter so please make note of the following workshops happening at the ALCC and check our schedule for details:

Professional Lifestyle Counsellor, Pierre Black
We are so very fortunate to have such a skilled and loving counsellor like Pierre to offer care and advice to those in need. Pierre Black is available for professional counselling by appointment and understands the diverse needs and lifestyles of our communities. He charges $70p/hour but offers discounts, exchange basis sessions and works to accomodate your specific situation so don’t feel uncomfortable to contact him and explain your needs.
Pierre Black has been in the kink community for more than 15 years. He is a trained Herbalist, Certified Nutritional Consultant, Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, and has diplomas in Counseling and Sports Nutrition. Become a Peer Advisor
Are you a good listener? Do you like to help people? Become a Peer Support Advisor (PSA) at the ALCC. The 2110 Gender Advocacy Centre of Concordia University will be holding the following workshops for traning to become a peer advisor. The ALCC requires you to take ALL of the mentioned classes in order to elibible to be a qualified ALCC PSA. There is no cost for these classes. Please send an email to info@thealcc.org for information or to sign up.

Thu Oct. 20 6 – 7:30pm Trans’ 101Salicious Zine Launch & ALCC Fundraiser – TBAWe are proud to announce the Salicious Magazine Launch and ALCC fundraising event. Salicious is a Queer, Feminist, sex magazine. We will have Pervy calendars available for sale and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the ALCC. We are currently scheduled for Oct 22nd at the Pheonix Bar but this is TENTATIVE as we are hoping to get a loft space nearby so please stay posted!
We are happy to announce a wonderful new student club starting at McGill University. SAKA (Sexuality and Kink Advocacy) holds social events, meetings, workshops, talks, dicsussion groups, and more for like-mided students. For more information contact sakamcgill@gmail.com.
