September 11th Bisexual Group

We gathered as usual on the 2nd Sunday of September to discuss the subject of bisexuality. We covered the subjects of curiosity (in the sense of sexual or genuine curiosity, but also in the sense of the “hetero-curious” and “homo-curious” sexual orientations).
We then covered the subject of orientation fluidity and changing sexual orientation. Someone asked about the nuances between bisexuals, pansexuals and queer terminologies, so we shared our points of view about that. The discussion went towards possible reasons behind hetero-normativity and concerns related to general self-acceptance. This led to a discussion about if bisexuality is a taboo, which sparked rich and nuanced opinions.
