Sunday the 15th of May saw a lot of kink, from bondage to bringing kink out of you and not needing to feel any shame. We had a Bondage 101, Conscious Kink, then the Bondage Practice group!

In the BDSM & The Law workshop, Maitre Corbeau covered a lot of important things for people to keep in mind when it comes to BDSM and dealing with law, and why there is still some progress to be made. It is important for people to know their rights, and how to deal with things should police be called when playing (keyword: playing/sceneing, not actual abuse!). The Alternative Lifestyles workshop gave a quick look into what we, the ALCC/CCVA are essentially about, and the various alternative lifestyles and marginalized identities and sexuality and what they are. It even brought in more membership!
Concordia Sexpo 2016!
The ALCC/CCVA was at Concordia Sexpo for another edition Feb 10-11, and it was great!

A whole lotta of flogging going on! Then after that…. bondage!
First was the Flogging 101 Workshop, given by Contessa Alura. People learned the basics to get started and reducing the risk. Where to hit, where not to, and some techniques to get started. Sara Jay even demonstrated to a few how to start at florentine!

January 15-17 the ALCC/CCVA was at the Salon de l’amour et de la seduction in the “Kink Corner.” We provided information, education, demonstrations, and educational stage presentations. The Vac-bed’s were unbelievably popular, as well as the violet wand! So many people were volunteering to try out different activities at our different play stations!!! All our communities were represented (Poly, Trans*, Bi/Pansexual, Swingers, and Asexuals)! Thank you to all those who volunteered to help make this such a success and to all who stopped by!
