We are recruiting volunteers to fulfill a Web survey for a psychological research project with Dr. Christian C. Joyal, Ph.D., professor in the psychology department of the Université du Québec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR), as project director. We want to compare ”BDSM poeple” and ”non-BDSM poeple” to show there is no difference between both groups and challenge the pathology label around Bondage / Discipline / Domination / Submission / Sadism / Masochism (BDSM) games.

To thank you for your participation in our study we will be giving away five Amazon.ca gift cards valued at $100.00 each, offered at random among the participants in the draw. The whole process is absolutely anonymous. We don’t need your identification and you can leave at any time.

Welcome to Sir Master Marc as our official “Flogging” educator!

Last Sunday marked our first day with Sir Master Marc as our official educator for Flogging. He has been a player and educator in the local Montreal BDSM community for more than 10 years. We are honored to have him with us at the ALCC. Marc is incredibly skilled when it comes to the art of flogging and he’s also an expert at technique, style and knowing what types of floggers to choose. He joins us with a strong and positive reputation which we hope creates confidence in anyone learning the art of flogging from him. Check out his profile to learn more about him.

ALCC welcomes our new Rope Educator for 2016, Isabelle Hanikamu

We are very pleased to announce that Isabelle Hanikamu from Kinbaku Dojo Montreal, will be teaching our rope classes in her unique and mesmerizing style.

She has trained under 奈加あきら Naka Akira and brings her in-depth knowledge and experience to the ALCC to share with everyone.

Bondage & Kink! / Ligotage et Kink!

Sunday the 15th of May saw a lot of kink, from bondage to bringing kink out of you and not needing to feel any shame. We had a Bondage 101, Conscious Kink, then the Bondage Practice group!

Contessa_Alura(a) opened the meeting, mentioning the ALCC(b)’s resources (books, workshops, counselling specialists) and Safe Space Policy. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and share their personal opinions while always respecting the opinions and tastes of all other participants. This meeting will be about Mistress_Magnum(c) and slave_feel(d) sharing their real-life BDSM(e) experience: They will share thoughts about their relation.

BDSM & The Law, and Bondage Group Fun

In the BDSM & The Law workshop, Maitre Corbeau covered a lot of important things for people to keep in mind when it comes to BDSM and dealing with law, and why there is still some progress to be made. It is important for people to know their rights, and how to deal with things should police be called when playing (keyword: playing/sceneing, not actual abuse!). So much more still remains to be done to ensure we can play without worrying!

Concordia Sexpo 2016!

The ALCC/CCVA was at Concordia Sexpo for another edition Feb 10-11, and it was great!

A whole lotta of flogging going on! Then after that…. bondage!

First was the Flogging 101 Workshop, given by Contessa Alura. People learned the basics to get started and reducing the risk. Where to hit, where not to, and some techniques to get started. Sara Jay even demonstrated to a few how to start at florentine!

January 15-17 the ALCC/CCVA was at the Salon de l’amour et de la seduction in the “Kink Corner.” We provided information, education, demonstrations, and educational stage presentations. The Vac-bed’s were unbelievably popular, as well as the violet wand! So many people were volunteering to try out different activities at our different play stations!!! All our communities were represented  (Poly, Trans*, Bi/Pansexual, Swingers, and Asexuals)! Thank you to all those who volunteered to help make this such a success and to all who stopped by!
