Rap Battle for Social Justice
Workshop Saturday, March 19 at 3 PM – 6 PM 1500 de Maisonneuve West, Suite 404 – Not Your 101: Gender History is Colonial History (In lead up to the Rap Battle 4 Gender Freedom)
Come to the Rap Battle for Gender Freedom, the 5th of The Rap Battles for Social Justice, where rap and spoken word artists who are trans people of colour, femme-identified people, as well queer and some cis allies will rap and speak about gender issues. Since gender oppression is prevalent in most communities, gender freedom represents the release from the shackles and the violence of the gender binary.

Concordia Sexpo 2016!
The ALCC/CCVA was at Concordia Sexpo for another edition Feb 10-11, and it was great!

January 15-17 the ALCC/CCVA was at the Salon de l’amour et de la seduction in the “Kink Corner.” We provided information, education, demonstrations, and educational stage presentations. The Vac-bed’s were unbelievably popular, as well as the violet wand! So many people were volunteering to try out different activities at our different play stations!!! All our communities were represented (Poly, Trans*, Bi/Pansexual, Swingers, and Asexuals)! Thank you to all those who volunteered to help make this such a success and to all who stopped by!

Join us at the Salon de l’Amour et de la Séduction!!! Jan 15 to the 17 the ALCC will be creating a fabulous and fun kinky area with all our awesome volunteers and ALCC reps.
Are you experienced in BDSM? Would you like the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with folks who are new or curious? We are still accepting volunteers to help out in the kink area. Annual Holiday Dinner: Murder Mystery Style! / Souper Meurtre et Mystère des Fêtes

Join us for a special holiday dinner where a terrible crime has been committed. Someone at the party has been MURDERED and everyone in the room is a SUSPECT!
This event requires an RSVP to participate and is limited to 15 attendees. $30 per person which includes a full holiday meal, murder mystery and entrance to the party afterwards. Bondage, Brats, and More Bondage! / Ligotage, Brat et encore du ligotage

On Sunday the 18th of October, the ALCC held 2 workshops and a group. First up was Intermediate Bondage with Vanessa, then Brats 101 with Mangue, then the Bondage Practice group. A “Triple B Day”! lol!
In the Intermediate Bondage, people were refreshed on safety and risk reduction while doing bondage, then they started with hands on learning. From ways to bind limbs to objects singly, with two variations on the tie – one for laying down and one for standing. Next was ways to bind limbs together, some harness variations and styles, then ways to perform hogties and strapado tie. Read the rest of this entry
