On Sunday the 18th of October, the ALCC held 2 workshops and a group. First up was Intermediate Bondage with Vanessa, then Brats 101 with Mangue, then the Bondage Practice group. A “Triple B Day”! lol!

In the Intermediate Bondage, people were refreshed on safety and risk reduction while doing bondage, then they started with hands on learning. From ways to bind limbs to objects singly, with two variations on the tie – one for laying down and one for standing. Next was ways to bind limbs together, some harness variations and styles, then ways to perform hogties and strapado tie.

The ALCC co-organizes Sin Social with fabulous Kommandant!

The new setup has play stations all around, demos and workshops, and of course people playing and even dancing still! The play areas are monitored by play monitors, to ensure that those who play can play safe and not be disturbed as well.

Bondage 201 Sunday Sept 18, 2011

Rope Bondage 101:

Lord Saxnot’s vast experience and knowledge of rope were enthusiastically greeted by a fun group of people in the last Bondage 101 workshop. A couple of us were even eager to show Saxnot some ties we had learnt on the internet… and he was just as quick to show us how unsafe they were! Just goes to show you, you have to be careful. There is so much information readily available now, but it is so important to have an expert to explain what is safe, and what is not.

Amateur Bondage Workshop Jan 9

Filling in for Contessa Alura was Vanessa (me lol) on this workshop.  It was very well attended, with some regulars and some new faces!

After teaching a few basic knots and a couple of basic hand ties including how to make a rope handcuff, members began practicing their bondage on each other.  Books were opened and many practiced some of the ties in them. Some very wonderful looking ties and ropework! For an amateur group they learn quick!
