Massage Lovers Group – Oct 10
A very relaxing learning experience took place this Sunday at the ALCC.Thanksgiving weekend meant we had a small group, but the people who came were lucky to get one on one instruction and wonderfully enjoyable massages.
We were given an introduction to Shiatsu massage techniques.
The enjoyment of the people being massaged was quite evident. We all smiled when one person said: “That’s a ‘WOW’ spot”, during her massage. It seems Shiatsu massage is fun to give and to receive.
First Amateur Bondage group meet – Oct 3
Our first beginners bondage group meet was a huge success. A lot of people came to learn about bondage, share with others, and refine some of those knots we couldn’t quite remember how to tie.
Many of us had attended one or more of the bondage workshops offered at the ALCC-CCVA and learned a few rope ties that we were doing. All of us had forgotten one or more of the steps to getting it right but interestingly, we all remembered a different part and combined, we were able to remember the whole process and finish the tie perfectly! It was fantastic watching someone get to a stand-still and another jump in to carry us to the next part lol.
I had hoped more people would bring step-by-step instructions or ROPE at the very least, so we didn’t quite have enough for everyone to practice with. While we have some we can share, please do not depend on this for the next group. It is very important for everyone to bring something to contribute. I’d like to see more books and photos to help us learn more.
Thank you to all those who attended, laughed, had fun with us, and to the wonderful people who allowed me to practice rope bondage on them. Since Moonchild Kitty was not there, I didn’t have the chance to fulfill my challenge of tying her so she can’t escape. However, hindsight, I’m REALLY glad I didn’t have to do it that day because my serious eff0rts to practice my technique on Kasandra resulted in a 30 second escape and a quickly defeated challenge lol…. I’LL GET YOU NEXT TIME MY PRETTY, AND YOUR LITTLE KITTY TOO!!!

Our last potluck outdoors in the park – Sept 25
What a lovely last potluck in the park. Since the weather will change and of course the days grow shorter, we will be bringing in our potluck to the ALCC room #417. We hope to maybe have a movie to follow a great potluck since lots want to linger and hang out.
There was plenty to eat for all and a great bunch of people who dropped in. A dish that was particularly enjoyed by all were the delicious Imperial Rolls made by Red Rain! We had the chance to discuss ideas for the upcoming fundraiser Candyland (details to follow) and everyone had the chance to offer their ideas.
There was yummy macaroni salad, chicken, chips, cappacino icr cream, fruti snacks, vegetables and dip, and more.
We had our biggest donation at a potluck of $24. Thank you to those who contributed.

Cross-dressers Unite #3 – Sept 11
Our third Crossdresser group had a fun new element- a makeup lesson.
Vanessa Cummings is a transsexual woman who was very generous in sharing her knowledge, time, and experience with us. We learned a lot about makeup, but also especially how to use makeup to hide some of our male features.
We all learned how to change our look. It was a fascinating lesson. Vanessa really knows her stuff and explained so well. I was very impressed.
As in the previous groups, we discussed topics of concern to crossdressers: going out in public, why we cross-dress, places to go, etc. Really interesting things to talk about, that I certainly would not discuss at work for example!
That is one of the great things about the ALCC, it gives people of varying interests, a place to go and chat about things in a totally non-judgmental forum.
