Lorena coaches professional folks who juggle work, home, and the care of aging parents by giving them a chance to relieve the pressure valve and feel more grounded. As a Mindfulness Coach and Curvy Yoga Teacher, she offers non-judgmental, body-affirming yoga-based sessions that center the participant as the expert on their bodies. By practicing awareness in every day postures and movements that create stress on the body, Lorena trains you how to self-correct for immediate results. Since 2009, she has guided hundreds of curvy women and trans people to experience true relaxation, to find the compassion they need to continue and to maintain the motivation to take the next step on their path. New addition to our counseling team!
We are excited to welcome Girolamo (Jerry) Russa as a Life Coach in training. He has been working very hard at Concordia University to complete his Professional and Personal Coach Certification (PPCC). His program is approved by the International Coach Federation (ICF). His type of work requires patience, passion and dedication to helping people find happiness and persevering through life’s challenges.
We are fortunate to have Giro as a kink/alternative lifestyle aware coach since this is still a major obstacle with therapists and counselors today. University programs are still teaching the “old” philosophy of perversions for psychology and medicine. It’s shocking to many students who are currently taking these classes and well versed with the kink/poly/BDSM world. This information is still biased on gender, lack of formal long-term evidence and research, and stigmatizing.

Welcome to Sir Master Marc as our official “Flogging” educator!
Last Sunday marked our first day with Sir Master Marc as our official educator for Flogging. He has been a player and educator 
in the local Montreal BDSM community for more than 10 years. We are honored to have him with us at the ALCC. Marc is incredibly skilled when it comes to the art of flogging and he’s also an expert at technique, style and knowing what types of floggers to choose. He joins us with a strong and positive reputation which we hope creates confidence in anyone learning the art of flogging from him. Check out his profile to learn more about him.
Concordia Sexpo 2016!
The ALCC/CCVA was at Concordia Sexpo for another edition Feb 10-11, and it was great!

January 15-17 the ALCC/CCVA was at the Salon de l’amour et de la seduction in the “Kink Corner.” We provided information, education, demonstrations, and educational stage presentations. The Vac-bed’s were unbelievably popular, as well as the violet wand! So many people were volunteering to try out different activities at our different play stations!!! All our communities were represented (Poly, Trans*, Bi/Pansexual, Swingers, and Asexuals)! Thank you to all those who volunteered to help make this such a success and to all who stopped by!

Join us at the Salon de l’Amour et de la Séduction!!! Jan 15 to the 17 the ALCC will be creating a fabulous and fun kinky area with all our awesome volunteers and ALCC reps.
Are you experienced in BDSM? Would you like the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with folks who are new or curious? We are still accepting volunteers to help out in the kink area.
